The Dean’s Camerata

The Dean’s Camerata | The Dean’s Camerata is a giving society of the University of North Texas College of Music. The cameratas of 16th-century Italy included luminaries who philanthropically supported, discussed, and guided trends in the arts. Honoring its namesake, the Dean’s Camerata represents a community of patrons and advocates, whose support of the college’s rich musical tradition shapes the future of the University of North Texas College of Music. You can be an annual member of this society with a gift to the College of Music in excess of $1,000.00 per year, or you can be a Lifetime Member with gifts of $25,000.00 and above. These gifts may be made in an area of your choosing. Please reach out to cherese.bassett@unt.edu if you need any assistance regarding your gift.

Investing in a musical masterpiece

By joining the Dean's Camerata, your gift will ensure that the College of Music retains its preeminent status as one of the most progressive and prestigious music schools in the nation.  Funds are critically needed for scholarships.  The most talented student musicians are pursued by dozens of top caliber colleges and universities worldwide. Music students must consider expenses in addition to tuition, room and board, including the cost of owning and maintaining a quality musical instrument and building audio and sheet music collections.
